Ekseli Oy

Who are we?

Ekseli is an employee owned software company that develops web-applications for clients and has its own no-code development tool. The company was founded in April of 2020 and is owned by 6 shareholders. The main shareholders have a long experience in successful startup companies and creating customer driven solutions.

The company employs (and is owned by) experienced senior level software designers, as well as young talented junior developers. Additionally the company has an experienced background in software and project consulting. Software projects are done with agile methods and the customer can follow the projects progress at their leisure with automatically published versions.

Ekseli is focused on creating adaptable web applications with TypeScript, React and Material UI. The long term goal is to design, develop and maintain a Web3 based low-code development tool.

The company has developed as customer projects e.g.

  • sales- and deliveryportal (TypeScript/Solid)
  • real estate management system (TypeScript/GraphQL)
  • athletes reaction time measurement software (TypeScript/Electron)

Ekseli is developing a no-code development platform, which includes a process model suited for project work. But which can also be customized to suit a customers needs. The solution is unique, since the data model can be updated on the fly as needed. Changing the data model doesn’t require large operations with updating the database or ensuring backwards compatibility. The solution is especially suited to a world where projects are directed and followed in the field, everything works perfectly even on mobile devices.

The core competence of Ekseli is in project operational management systems. The main challenge in choosing a data system for a company project is that one generally has to choose the least bad option. Traditional ERP systems are suited well for managing standard products, standard routing and standard product structures. If the company wants the data system to bend to their needs, instead of bending their own process to fit a software’s standard process, the whole software architecture needs to be reconsidered. A company project is full of white spots, unplanned sub-sets which planning, drawing, documenting, subcontracting and integration to the final product needs to scheduled and tracked.
